Foundation foils

For foundations, basement walls, and deep construction projects, durable HDPE drainage membranes with high compressive strength are recommended. An example of such a solution is Eurovent® GEO 20 - an embossed foundation membrane with a stud height of 20 mm. It provides increased drainage capacity, effectively channels groundwater away, and protects the waterproofing layer against mechanical damage. In addition, it improves the thermal and acoustic insulation performance of the structure.

In green roof systems, proper water management is essential—both the drainage of excess water and its temporary retention. For these applications, Eurovent® GEO 20 GARDEN is designed—a perforated HDPE drainage and water-retention membrane that enables effective drainage while storing water during dry periods. This solution enhances the durability of green roofs and improves plant growth conditions.

Foundation membranes act as a barrier protecting foundations and walls against ground moisture and capillary water rise. Additionally, they create a drainage and ventilation layer that allows excess groundwater to be discharged, reducing the risk of moisture-related damage and extending the service life of the entire building.
