Foundation foil
GEO 20
The Eurovent GEO 20 drainage foundation foil made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE)characterized by parallel 20 mm dimples. Foil is designed for use as vertical and horizontalwaterproofing layer in buildings. The product is extremely resistant to compression and itslarge dimples increase the drainage performance. In addition, the foil also forms a layer ofthermal and acoustic insulation. The product is resistant to acids, alkali, solvents, bacteria, funghi as well as damage caused by roots.
Advantages:
- For deep-sea construction
- Compression resistance
- Groundwater level regulator
- Enhanced drainage
Application and technical data
It is used in the construction of underground garages, tunnels and foundations in flood-prone areas, as well as wherever there is a periodic risk of groundwater exposure. It can be installed with a slope between the foundation slab and the screed to support effective water drainage.
It is also suitable for direct application between the shotcrete layer and the structural concrete wall, especially in areas where there is no space for traditional formwork.

System products
In order to ensure maximum performance of GEO 20, it should be used in combination with:
- Eurovent® filtration geotextiles, which protect the drainage space against clogging and allow free water flow in drainage systems and deep construction,
- Eurovent® drainage and dewatering systems, which support groundwater level regulation and effective discharge of rainwater and subsurface water away from the building structure,
- Eurovent® GEO LINE mounting profiles, ensuring tight and aesthetic finishing of the upper edge of the foundation membrane in vertical installation,
- Eurovent® GEO NAIL fixing nails, enabling durable and stable fixing of the membrane to insulated surfaces,
- Eurovent® sealing tapes (e.g. GEO BUTYL), which increase the tightness of joints and protect installation areas against moisture penetration.
The use of complete Eurovent® system solutions guarantees effective waterproof insulation, increased drainage capacity, compressive strength and protection of foundations and underground structures against moisture, subsurface water and mechanical damage — even in the most demanding ground conditions.
