The range includes durable HDPE foundation and drainage membranes that create an effective damp-proof and drainage barrier. They allow free drainage of groundwater while improving the thermal and acoustic insulation performance of the building.
The system is complemented by Eurovent® MAUER horizontal membranes, designed to protect masonry against capillary moisture rise, as well as GEO drainage and retention membranes, used in gardens, terraces, and green roofs to retain and discharge excess water.
The complete system is supported by installation accessories—profiles, fixing nails, tapes, and separation mats—which ensure airtightness, stability, and easy installation of all insulation components.

Foundations are constantly exposed to ground moisture, rainwater, and changing soil and groundwater conditions. Lack of effective insulation and drainage can lead to damp walls, degradation of structural materials, reduced thermal insulation performance, and mould growth. A properly designed insulation and drainage system increases the durability of the entire building and ensures safe use over time.
Drainage and foundation membranes create a protective barrier between the ground and the building structure. Their function is to discharge excess water, protect the waterproofing layer against mechanical damage, and improve the working conditions of foundation walls. Additionally, they can contribute to thermal and acoustic insulation and help regulate moisture levels around the foundations.
Drainage and separation systems are used not only around foundations but also in floor slabs, retaining walls, terraces, green roofs, pedestrian routes, sports fields, and infiltration systems. Their purpose is soil stabilisation, filtration, drainage, and protection of structural layers.
For foundations, basement walls, and deep construction projects, durable HDPE drainage membranes with high compressive strength are recommended. An example is Eurovent® GEO 20 - an embossed foundation membrane with a stud height of 20 mm. It provides enhanced drainage capacity, effectively removes groundwater, and protects the waterproofing layer against mechanical damage. In addition, it improves the thermal and acoustic insulation performance of the structure.
In green roof systems, proper water management is essential—both draining excess water and temporarily retaining it. For such applications, Eurovent® GEO 20 GARDEN is recommended—a perforated HDPE drainage and water-retention membrane that enables effective drainage while storing water during dry periods. This solution increases the durability of green roofs and improves plant growth condition
Geotextile performs separation, filtration, and soil stabilisation functions. It prevents mixing of substrate layers, protects drainage systems against clogging, and increases the durability of surfaces and structures. Eurovent® GEOTEX is used in vertical and infiltration drainage systems, under pavements, cycle paths, sports fields, and in systems with drainage pipes.
