Sloping roof
The Eurovent® roofing system is a comprehensive range of solutions designed to protect, insulate, and provide an aesthetic finish for pitched roofs. It forms a cohesive system—from layers that protect the roof structure against moisture and wind, to components responsible for proper ventilation and efficient water drainage.
The range includes highly vapour-permeable roof membranes and roof underlays that effectively protect the structure and thermal insulation against moisture while allowing free water vapour transmission. The system is complemented by sealing tapes, eaves combs, ridge tapes, ventilation chimneys, and installation accessories that ensure airtightness and long-term durability in critical roof zones.
We also offer drainage systems and components that ensure effective rainwater discharge, such as roof valleys and eaves elements, as well as solutions that enable safe roof access and efficient roof maintenance.

TO KNOW
A pitched roof is the most common type of roof construction used in residential buildings. Its correct execution requires, among others, roof membranes, underlay layers, eaves accessories, ridge tapes, sealing tapes, ventilation components, metal flashings, and snow protection systems.
The Eurovent® range includes selected, key roofing system components—particularly highly vapour-permeable roof membranes, vapour control membranes, wind barrier membranes, as well as installation and ventilation accessories—that support durability, airtightness, and energy efficiency of the roof structure.
A ridge tape ensures proper ventilation and sealing of the ridge and roof hips. It allows moisture to escape freely from the underlay layer while protecting the roof slopes against precipitation, dust, and insects. An example is Eurovent® ROLL STANDARD—a tape that provides a durable, aesthetic, and weather-resistant ridge finish.
The eaves play a key role in the roof ventilation system, as this is where fresh air enters the roof structure. Eaves construction typically involves the use of eaves vents, ventilation grilles, and eaves combs. A properly designed eaves system ensures continuous airflow from the eaves to the ridge.
Flexible chimney flashing tapes, such as Eurovent® FLEX STANDARD, are used to seal the area around the chimney. These products adapt to various surfaces and ensure a durable, watertight connection. Additional protection should include high-quality waterproof sealing tape and correctly executed metal flashing resistant to weather conditions.
Ventilation chimneys are responsible for discharging moisture and air from sanitary systems and interior spaces. They are essential for proper air exchange within the roof structure. Lack of effective ventilation can lead to moisture accumulation in insulation, mould growth, and energy losses.
The Eurovent® roof safety system includes roof walkways, steps, brackets, and roof ladders. All components are compatible with various roof coverings and enable safe access for chimney servicing and maintenance of roof installations.
Yes - especially in regions with heavy snowfall. Snow guard fences, snow beams, and snow retention accessories protect people, gutters, and the building surroundings from sliding snow masses.
Roof energy efficiency is primarily influenced by the use of highly vapour-permeable roof membranes, effective sealing tapes (e.g., EC1 Plus class), a properly designed ventilation system, and products certified for passive construction. The Eurovent® range includes innovative products certified by the Passive House Institute, such as Eurovent® CLIMA X, Eurovent® UNISAN, Eurovent® HYDRAL, and Eurovent® MULTI.
Yes. Eurovent® develops complete roofing systems in which every product—from membranes and sealing tapes to ventilation chimneys and accessories—is designed for full installation and functional compatibility.
