CLIMA X
Eurovent® CLIMA X active vapor barrier membrane, three-layer, reinforced with PE mesh, has a variable level of Sd coefficient. Made of a layer of polypropylene nonwoven fabric, a special functional film and PE mesh. The functional film allows small amounts of water vapor to migrate towards the attic from inside the building and, if necessary, from the attic to the inside, which causes the product to have vapor barrier activity.
The Eurovent® CLIMA X vapour barrier membrane has been certified by the Passive House Institute in airtightness class phA. It can be made to order in a version with two adhesive tapes - SYSTEM SK2

Application and technical data
The Eurovent® CLIMA X vapour control membrane is used in residential and industrial construction, as well as in timber-frame buildings, as a vapour barrier layer protecting attics against the penetration of excess moisture from the interior into the thermal insulation. It is applied in roof and wall constructions. Thanks to its active properties, it prevents, among other things, the “plastic bag effect”, i.e. the formation of mould and fungi in the attic as a result of excess moisture. During installation, the use of Eurovent® DUO adhesive tape is mandatory for bonding overlapping joints, and Eurovent® UNO tape for sealing connections with roof structural elements.

In order to ensure maximum performance of the CLIMA X roof membrane, it should be used in combination with:
- Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes, which increase the tightness of overlaps and the durability of installation joints,
- Eurovent® ventilation accessories, supporting proper air flow and reducing the risk of condensation within the roof structure,
- Eurovent® eaves system components, ensuring effective water drainage and continuous air intake into the ventilation layer,
- Eurovent® roof clips, stabilising the roof covering and increasing the roof slope resistance to snow and wind loads.
The use of complete Eurovent® system solutions guarantees high membrane durability, effective protection of the roof structure and reliable performance of the entire system for many years.
