DUO
Eurovent® DUO double-sided tape for bonding vapour-barrier foils, roof membranes and other plastic-based construction products. Made of polyester mesh coated on both sides with special acrylic dispersion adhesive (380 g/m²) and secured with separating silicone paper. Eurovent® DUO tape has EMICODE® EC1 PLUS certification, confirming very low emissions of harmful substances. It is also a certified QB component issued by CSTB (Centre Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment), when combined with Eurovent® STRONG R3 or Eurovent® MAXI R2.

Application and technical data
The double-sided Eurovent® DUO tape is used for bonding roofing or vapour barrier membranes and films. It is suitable for bonding building foils, vapour barriers based on paper, aluminium and other plastics. Ideally bonds overlaps of roofing membranes and foils. In interior applications, it is ideal for bonding all types of vapour barrier products - it guarantees resistance to water vapour pushing from inside the building towards the attic and walls and prevents the need to puncture the vapour barrier membranes with mounting components.

To ensure maximum performance of DUO, it is recommended to use it as part of a complete roofing system together with:
- Eurovent® roof membranes (roof underlays / underdeck membranes), which protect the roof structure against moisture and provide a suitable substrate for durable bonding of layers using DUO,
- Eurovent® vapour control membranes (vapour barriers), where DUO enables airtight and secure bonding of overlaps and connections to structural elements,
- Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes, complementing the performance of DUO in areas requiring additional reinforcement and enhanced airtightness,
- Eurovent® installation accessories, supporting the durability and stability of the roofing system, particularly in detailing zones, flashing areas and structural connections.
The use of complete Eurovent® system solutions guarantees high joint tightness, effective protection against moisture ingress and long-term durability of the entire roof structure.
