– certified solutions for passive construction

Passive construction is one of the key directions in modern architecture. Its fundamental principle is to minimise a building’s energy demand for heating and cooling while maintaining a high level of user comfort and indoor air quality.

Products certified by the Passive House Institute meet stringent requirements for parameters that are crucial to building energy efficiency, particularly airtightness and properties affecting the correct performance of the building envelope.

What does Passive House Institute certification mean?

Passive House Institute (PHI) certification is one of the most recognised confirmations of quality for solutions used in passive and energy-efficient construction. Certification is carried out by the Passive House Institute, an independent research institute based in Darmstadt, Germany.

Certified products undergo detailed assessment of parameters relevant to the passive building standard. This enables architects, contractors and investors to select solutions with verified performance that support reduced energy losses, high building envelope airtightness and a comfortable indoor environment.

Eurovent® system products certified by the Passive House Institute

The Eurovent® range includes products certified by the Passive House Institute, whose performance has been verified for use in energy-efficient and passive construction:
