GEO BUTYL
Eurovent® GEO BUTYL double-sided butyl tape is designed for bonding and sealing vapour control membranes, roofing films, roof membranes, foundation membranes and other plastic-based construction products. It is butyl-based, solvent-free and provided with a siliconised paper release liner.

Application and Technical Data
Eurovent® GEO BUTYL butyl tape is used for bonding and sealing roof membranes, roofing films, foundation membranes, vapour control membranes and other construction films. It provides effective bonding between various membranes and insulation materials and substrates such as plastics, concrete, brick and metal components. It is also suitable for sealing around chimneys and other elements protruding through the roof surface.
In foundation systems, it provides an effective solution for bonding and sealing membrane overlaps, improving joint tightness and protection against ground water. If there is any doubt regarding substrate quality or adhesion, an adhesion test is recommended.

For maximum performance, GEO BUTYL should be used in combination with:
- Eurovent® foundation membranes (e.g. GEO 8, GEO 20), which require tight bonding and fixing in areas exposed to ground moisture,
- Eurovent® filtration geotextiles, which function as protective and separation layers in foundation and drainage systems,
- Eurovent® drainage and separation mats (e.g. GEO MATT, MATT), where GEO BUTYL supports the formation of tight connections and protection of junction areas,
- Eurovent® installation accessories and sealing compounds, which enable correct installation and improve the durability of joints in vertical and horizontal waterproofing systems.
