Application and technical data

The Eurovent® GEO BAND sealing tape is used as a sealing element for expansion joints, wall and floor corners, edges and building structures. It is applied in areas exposed to increased stresses and in locations particularly vulnerable to moisture, such as terraces, foundation walls, underground and above-ground concrete structures, balconies, swimming pools, toilets, bathrooms, kitchens, car washes and flat roofs. It is important to ensure that the surfaces on which the tape is installed are level, stable, solid and free from contaminants. In case of any doubts regarding the quality of the substrate, an adhesion test should be carried out. Installation can be performed using dispersion bituminous compounds or acrylic-based dispersion compounds.
