The Eurovent® PLATFORM SET METAL FLAT is a platform in a complete assembly set consisting of two Eurovent® SUPPORT METAL FLAT brackets, two Eurovent® GRIP cradles, a set of mounting screws and the Eurovent® PLATFORM roof walkway. The elements made of galvanized steel form a complete system for safe traffic on the roof slope with an angle of 15˚ to 60˚. The set is available in several colour versions painted with powder paint according to RAL chart.

Application and Technical Data
The Eurovent® PLATFORM SET METAL FLAT roof walkway provides access to chimneys and other equipment requiring inspection on roofs with a pitch from 15° to 60°. The set with SUPPORT METAL FLAT brackets is designed for flat sheet-metal coverings with traditional standing seams or click-type standing-seam panels. The brackets clamp onto the seam, with a PUR gasket under the base, in accordance with the current installation instructions. Check the seam geometry and correct fixing of the roof covering before installation.

To ensure maximum safety and durability of the roof access system, Eurovent® PLATFORM SET METAL FLAT should be used in combination with:
- the Eurovent® VISTA DUO roof hatch, enabling convenient and safe access to the roof slope,
- Eurovent® roof clips, which stabilise and secure the roofing in the platform installation area,
- Eurovent® highly vapour-permeable roof membranes, protecting the roof structure against moisture and condensation,
- Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes, increasing the tightness and durability of installation joints.

What type of roof is METAL FLAT designed for?
For roofs with flat metal coverings finished with standing seams, within the scope specified in the current product documentation.
Can METAL FLAT be used with every standing-seam system?
Compatibility should not be assumed automatically. Different systems may have different seam geometries and structural arrangements, so the conditions for the specific covering must be checked.
Does installation require penetrating the roof covering?
No. According to the current SUPPORT METAL FLAT instructions, the bracket clamps onto the seam using the supplied M8 bolts, without drilling through the roof covering. The base has a PUR gasket. Check the seam geometry and clamping arrangement against the instructions; do not modify the fixing detail independently.
Why does standing-seam roofing need a separate bracket?
Flat metal roofing has a completely different geometry from roof tiles or metal tiles, so it requires a suitably designed method of fixing roof-access components.
Are the other components the same as in other sets?
The PLATFORM walkway, STEP roof step and GRIP fixing cradle belong to the shared system; the main difference is the bracket responsible for the connection to the roof.
