PUR
The Eurovent® PUR sealing tape is designed for sealing in the construction industry. Made of polyethylene foam with closed cells structure and coated on one side with an adhesive based on acrylic dispersion. Elastic structure allows to align the counter-batten installed on the roof membrane.

Application and technical data
The Eurovent PUR sealing tapeis designed for sealing and insulating in roof works as well asgeneral construction. Recommended for sealing installation punctures in roof membranesand foils. When applied below the counter-batten,thetape allows to align the uneven spotsThanks to this application, all penetration points of the roof membrane through roofingstaples and nails are sealed, which eliminates the risk of water and moisture penetration onrafters and into the thermal insulation. Also used as a acoustic insulation material.

To ensure maximum performance of PUR, it is recommended to use it as part of a complete roofing system together with:
- Eurovent® roof membranes (roof underlays / underdeck membranes), which protect the roof structure against moisture and provide a stable substrate for sealing applications performed with PUR foam,
- Eurovent® vapour control membranes (vapour barriers), where PUR acts as an airtight filler for joints and service penetrations,
- Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes, complementing the performance of PUR in areas requiring additional protection against air leakage and moisture ingress,
- Eurovent® metal flashing elements, where PUR can be used as a flexible filling and insulation material for hard-to-reach cavities and detailing zones.
The use of complete Eurovent® system solutions guarantees high sealing efficiency, reduced heat loss and long-term protection of the roof structure.
