DS BLAU
Eurovent® DS BLAU vapour barrier foil has a high Sd coefficient of approx. 100 m, providing a solid barrier against water vapour penetrating from inside the building into the thermal insulation. It eliminates the risk of water vapour condensation in building partitions, effectively protecting the thermal insulation in the partition. Thanks to its tear resistance, it ensures long-lasting protection and enables easy and quick installation. It finds wide application as a vapour barrier in attic insulation, walls, ceilings, and other building partitions.

Application and technical data
The Eurovent® DS BLAU vapour barrier film is used as a vapour control layer protecting against the penetration of water vapour and moisture in ceilings, pitched and flat roofs, as well as vertical wall structures. It is installed parallel to or along the rafters, directly on the thermal insulation. During installation, the use of Eurovent® DUO, Eurovent® UNO or Eurovent® UNISAN adhesive tapes is mandatory for bonding overlapping joints and sealing the connections between the film and structural elements.

In order to ensure maximum performance of the DS BLAU roof membrane, it should be used in combination with:
- Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes, which increase the tightness of overlaps and installation joints,
- Eurovent® ventilation accessories, enabling proper air circulation and reducing the risk of condensation within the roof structure,
- Eurovent® eaves system components, ensuring effective water drainage and proper air flow beneath the roof covering,
- Eurovent® roof clips, stabilising the roof covering and supporting proper performance of the roofing system under variable weather conditions.
