Sealing tape
EPDM PRO
Elastomeric EPDM tape for vertical and horizontal moisture proofing of facade joints and woodwork in construction. It is used to prevent the penetration of moisture from the outside into the facade structures, as well as to drain from the walls of the building, so as to prevent the phenomenon of condensation.
Advantages:
- High resistance to mechanic damages
- Resistant to atmospheric factors
- Easy installation
Application and technical data
Waterproof and moisture-proof tape for sealing joints between window frames and walls. EPDM PRO can be used as a means of preventing water or moisture from entering the wall. The tape is used on the inside of an interior wall to act as a barrier to stop the flow of warm air from inside the building to the outside. The tape is also used as a moisture barrier on the substructure holding the facade panels. An additional function is that the substructure and façade cladding are more easily overlapped by changes in temperature and humidity. The tape is also designed for sealing joints between windows and lightweight curtain walls with aluminum section construction, and the building structure.”

To ensure maximum performance of EPDM PRO, it is recommended to use it as part of a complete roofing system together with:
- Eurovent® roof membranes (roof underlays / underdeck membranes), which protect the roof structure against moisture and provide a stable substrate for sealing applications carried out with EPDM PRO,
- Eurovent® vapour control membranes (vapour barriers), where EPDM PRO secures penetrations and junctions, ensuring full airtightness of the vapour control layer,
- Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes, reinforcing critical detailing zones and increasing the durability of seals made with EPDM PRO,
- Eurovent® installation accessories, ensuring structural stability and proper installation of elements in areas requiring high flexibility and resistance.
The use of complete Eurovent® system solutions guarantees durable sealing, effective protection against water ingress and long-term reliability of the entire roof structure.
