Vapour barriers are membranes and films with an Sd value of ≥ 100 m.

Products in this category, such as Eurovent® CLIMA 100, DS BLAU and AKTIV X 100, act as a barrier to water vapour passing from inside the building towards the attic, floors or walls. They form an exceptionally strong barrier to water vapour transmission wherever required, making them ideal for areas at high risk of condensation where full protection against moisture is needed.

Within this group, the synthetic vapour control membrane Eurovent® AKTIV X 100 deserves particular attention. It is designed for refurbishing pitched roofs from the outside when access to the attic interior is difficult or entirely impossible.
