The Eurovent® WALL PROTECT 3 is a three- layered, highly vapour - permeable , windproof membrane . Made of two layers of polypropylene nonwoven and functional film which ensures high vapour - permeability and water - tightness of the product . Protects fac ade constructions against wind, rain and moisture. The m embrane is available in the SYSTEM SK2 with tw o self - adhesive tapes.

Application and technical data
Application Eurovent WALL PROTECT 3 windproof membrane is used in frame construction as insulation of frame and skeleton structures, as well as in log houses, siding elevations, residential building structures and industrial halls. The product does not require any venting slot between the membrane and thermal insulation (mineral wool, fibreglass, etc.), which means that the membrane may come into direct contact with the insulation. The product should not be used on insulated sloping roofs, where the use of roof membranes is recommended.

In order to ensure maximum performance of WALL PROTECT 3, it should be used in combination with:
- Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes, which ensure tight bonding of overlaps and durable sealing of details in wall assemblies,
- Eurovent® vapour control membranes, which stabilise moisture conditions within the wall and cooperate with the WALL PROTECT 3 wind barrier membrane,
- Eurovent® mounting accessories, enabling correct installation of the membrane in areas exposed to increased wind loads,
- wall substructure components, which allow maintaining continuity of the wind barrier layer and support proper ventilation of the assembly.
The use of complete Eurovent® system solutions guarantees high wind-tightness, effective protection of the structure against wind penetration and moisture, and long-term durability of the entire wall assembly.
