Sealing collar
SEAL
Eurovent® SEAL self-adhesive sealing collar designed for sealing solar cables and sewage, heating and ventilation pipes in building partitions, including walls, attic and floors. Made of high quality high-density polyethylene (HDPE), glued with acrylic adhesive and EPDM cable passage.
Advantages
- Fast and easy installation
- Insulates against wind and water vapour
- Self-adhesive
Application and Technical Data
The self-adhesive Eurovent® SEAL collar seals cable and pipe penetrations through building elements, including electrical and solar connections, heating pipes, drainage pipes and ventilation ducts. It seals penetrations through vapour control films, vapour-permeable membranes and other insulation films and membranes in roofs, attics, walls and floors. It is suitable for buildings of all construction types, particularly timber-frame construction and passive houses. Select the collar size to match the diameter of the cable or pipe.

To ensure maximum performance of SEAL, it is recommended to use it in combination with:
Eurovent® roof membranes, which protect the roof structure against moisture and support the proper performance of seals in critical areas,
Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes, which complement the performance of SEAL by increasing the tightness of overlaps and installation joints,
Eurovent® sheet metal flashing elements, where SEAL provides flexible and durable sealing of details and areas difficult to secure,
Eurovent® installation accessories, which improve the stability and long-term weather resistance of the entire roofing system.
The use of complete Eurovent® system solutions guarantees high tightness of connections, effective protection against moisture ingress and full durability of the roof structure for many years.
GOOD TO KNOW
How does SEAL differ from MINI SEAL?
SEAL is intended for larger penetrations: pipes and conduits for plumbing, heating, ventilation or solar installations. MINI SEAL focuses on small cables.
Why is SEAL available in many sizes?
Service pipes come in many different diameters, so the collar version should match the penetration diameter as closely as possible.
Can the collar be used on a vapour control layer?
Yes. It is designed specifically for tight penetrations through films and membranes in walls, roofs, attics and floors.
What does the flexible EPDM penetration provide?
It fits tightly around the pipe while allowing slight movement without loss of tightness.
Is SEAL suitable for framed construction?
Yes. Ready-made collars are particularly practical in structures where continuity of the airtightness layer is important.
