CLIMA
Eurovent® CLIMA PLUS vapour control membrane, double-layered, active vapour-barrier withvariable Sd-value. Made of a nonwoven polypropylene layer and a specialfunctional filmthat allows small amounts of water vapour to migrate to the attic from the inside of thebuilding and, if necessary, from the attic to the inside, which means that the product has aso-called vapour-barrier activity.
The membrane is available in the SYSTEM SK2 with twoself-adhesive tapes.

Application and technical data
The Eurovent® CLIMA vapour control membrane is used in residential and industrial construction, as well as in timber-frame buildings, as a vapour barrier layer protecting attics against the penetration of excess moisture from the interior into the thermal insulation. It is applied in roof and wall constructions. Thanks to its active properties, it prevents, among other things, the “plastic bag effect”, i.e. the formation of mould and fungi in the attic as a result of excess moisture. During installation, the use of Eurovent® DUO adhesive tape is mandatory for bonding overlapping joints, and Eurovent® UNO tape for sealing connections with roof structural elements.

In order to ensure maximum performance of the CLIMA roof membrane, it should be used in combination with:
- Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes, which improve the tightness of overlaps and the durability of installation joints,
- Eurovent® ventilation accessories, supporting proper air circulation and reducing the risk of condensation within the roof structure,
- Eurovent® eaves system components, ensuring effective water drainage and the necessary air intake beneath the roof covering,
- Eurovent® roof clips, stabilising the roof covering and increasing the roof slope resistance to snow loads and wind action.
The use of complete Eurovent® system solutions guarantees membrane durability, effective protection of the roof structure and reliable operation of the entire system for many years.
