CLIMA X20
Reinforced vapor control membrane Eurovent® CLIMA X20 features an increased Sd value and extreme durability in its class, thanks to the applied reinforcement. It consists of a layer of polypropylene nonwoven, a special functional film, and a reinforcing PE mesh. The functional film allows controlled migration of small amounts of water vapor from the building interior towards the attic, and vice versa if needed, giving it the properties of so-called active vapor barrier.
The membrane can be customized with two self-adhesive tapes - SYSTEM SK2.

Application and technical data
The Eurovent® CLIMA X20 vapour control membrane is used as a vapour barrier layer protecting attics and walls against the penetration of excess moisture from the interior into the thermal insulation. Its active properties effectively prevent the “plastic bag effect”, eliminating the risk of mould and fungal growth. Eurovent® CLIMA X20 is recommended for both residential and industrial construction and is suitable for a wide range of construction technologies, including prefabricated, modular, timber-frame and traditional building systems. It is also ideally suited for structures based on CLT (Cross-Laminated Timber) technology, as well as for Passive House construction. Thanks to its mechanical properties, the Eurovent® CLIMA X20 vapour control membrane performs exceptionally well when used with blown-in thermal insulation materials, such as cellulose insulation. During installation of the Eurovent® CLIMA X20 vapour control membrane, it is recommended to use Eurovent® UNISAN and Eurovent® DUO adhesive tapes for bonding overlapping joints, as well as Eurovent® UNO tape for sealing connections with structural elements.

- Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes, which increase the tightness of overlaps and the durability of installation joints,
- Eurovent® ventilation accessories, supporting proper air circulation and minimising the risk of condensation within the roof structure,
- Eurovent® eaves system components, ensuring effective water drainage and air intake into the ventilation layer,
- Eurovent® roof clips, stabilising the roof covering and increasing the roof slope resistance to snow loads and wind action.
The use of complete Eurovent® system solutions guarantees high membrane durability, optimal protection of the roof structure and reliable performance of the entire system for many years.
