Double-sided butyltape
BUTYL PRO
The double-sided butyltape Eurovent® BUTYL PRO is designed for joining and sealing roof membranes, wind-barrier membranes, vapour–barrier and roof foilsas well as for sealing roof and building structures. It is made on the basis of butyl, solvent-free and protected witha layer of foil. It is a friendly product for people and the environment.
Advantages:
- High adhesive strength
- Wide adhesive area
- UV resistance
- Watertightness
Application and technical data
The double-sided butyltape Eurovent BUTYL PRO is used primarily as sealing tape under thebattens ensuring sealed surface under battens application on the roofing membrane. Inplaces where the nails and staples pierce the roofing membrane, itensures its tightness. Inaddition, used for bonding andsealing vapour-barrier and roofing foils, perfectly combinesthem with plastic, concrete, wood, brick or metal parts. It works perfectly well in skeletal construction for bonding and sealing wind-insulating membranes.

System products
To ensure maximum performance of BUTYL PRO, it is recommended to use it as part of a complete roofing system together with:
- Eurovent® roof membranes (roof underlays / underdeck membranes), which provide a stable and airtight substrate, enabling durable, flexible and weather-resistant sealing with BUTYL PRO,
- Eurovent® vapour control membranes (vapour barriers), where BUTYL PRO guarantees secure and ageing-resistant bonding of overlaps and connections between the membrane and structural elements,
- Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes, complementing the performance of BUTYL PRO in areas requiring additional reinforcement and enhanced airtightness,
- Eurovent® metal flashing elements, where BUTYL PRO performs as an exceptionally durable and flexible seal between metal components and adjacent roofing layers.
The use of complete Eurovent® system solutions guarantees maximum sealing durability, effective protection against moisture ingress and reliable long-term performance of the entire roof structure.
