Windproof membrane
HOME
The Eurovent® HOME wind barrier membrane is a three-layer, highly vapor-permeable, windproof membrane. Constructed from two layers of polypropylene nonwoven fabric and a functional film, it ensures high vapor permeability and water resistance. It is used for insulating facade systems in traditional, timber frame, prefabricated, and CLT buildings, and is particularly recommended for modular construction. It protects building facades from wind, rain, and moisture. It can be made to order with two self-adhesive tapes – SYSTEM SK2.
Advantages:
- Windproof
- Waterproof
- Highly vapor-permeable
- Quick and easy installation
Application and technical data
Membrane is designed for use as insulation against wind, rain and moisture in wall and facade constructions. Product is also suitable for application in ventilated facades and is recommended for use in log houses, timber framing and constructions of residential and industrial buildings. Preservation of venting slot between the membrane and the thermal insulation (mineral wool, fiberglass) is not required for installation – product can be installed directly on thermal insulation.

System products
In order to ensure maximum performance of HOME, it should be used in combination with:
- Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes, which increase the tightness of membrane overlaps and the durability of installation joints,
- Eurovent® ventilation accessories, supporting proper air circulation within the roof assembly and reducing the risk of condensation,
- Eurovent® eaves system components, which ensure effective water drainage and proper air intake beneath the roof covering,
- Eurovent® roof clips, stabilising the roof covering and increasing the roof slope resistance to wind and snow loads.
The use of complete Eurovent® system solutions guarantees membrane durability, effective protection of the roof structure against moisture and reliable performance of the entire roof slope for many years.
