Eurovent® HOME is a three-layer, highly vapour-permeable housewrap membrane. It consists of two layers of polypropylene nonwoven fabric and a functional film that provides high water vapour permeability and watertightness. Designed to protect facade systems in conventional, timber-frame, prefabricated and CLT buildings, it is particularly recommended for modular construction. It protects building facades against wind, rain and moisture.
Available to order with two integrated self-adhesive strips – SYSTEM SK2.

Application and Technical Data
Eurovent® HOME housewrap membrane is designed to protect facade systems in conventional, timber-frame, prefabricated and CLT buildings, particularly in modular construction. No ventilation gap is required between the membrane and the thermal insulation (mineral wool, glass wool, etc.), allowing the membrane to be installed directly against the insulation. The product must not be used on insulated pitched roofs, where roofing membranes are recommended.

To provide effective protection for the wall assembly, Eurovent® HOME housewrap membrane should be used in combination with:
- Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes, which provide tight seals at membrane overlaps and durable sealing of details in wall assemblies,
- Eurovent® vapour control membranes, which help control water vapour transmission through the wall assembly and complement the external HOME wind barrier,
- Eurovent® installation accessories, which enable the membrane to be correctly fixed to the wall structure,
- facade substructure components, which allow a ventilation gap to be formed between the membrane and the facade cladding while maintaining the continuity of the wind barrier.
Correct selection and installation of the compatible components help maintain windtightness, protect the structure and insulation against wind penetration and moisture, and support the durability of the entire wall assembly.
