FASSADE
The Eurovent® FASSADE wind barrier membrane, layered, highly vapour-permeable. Used primarily for facades-ventilated facades, extremely resistant to UV radiation-passed the 5000 h test. Built of a layer of polyester non-woven fabric covered with polyurethane. Available the version with 2 self-adhesive tapes – the SYSTEM SK2.

Application and technical data
The Eurovent FASSADE wind barrier membrane is used as insulation of walls against wind, rain and moisture in ventilated and non-ventilated façade systems, especially facades with open slots of up to 50 mm. Moreover, it is perfect for frame construction, log houses and constructions of residential buildings and industrial halls. The product does not require any venting slot between the membrane and thermal insulation (mineral wool, fibreglass), which means that the membrane may come into direct contact with the insulation.

In order to ensure maximum performance of FASSADE, it should be used in combination with:
- Eurovent® UV-resistant sealing and adhesive tapes, which ensure durable and tight bonding of overlaps and details in ventilated façade systems,
- Eurovent® mounting accessories, enabling correct installation of the membrane and its stability in wind-loaded areas,
- façade substructure battens and components, which provide a proper ventilation cavity and support moisture drainage from the assembly,
- Eurovent® vapour control membranes, which stabilise moisture conditions within the wall and cooperate with the FASSADE wind barrier membrane by balancing water vapour flow.
The use of complete Eurovent® system solutions guarantees effective protection of the façade against wind penetration, moisture and UV radiation, ensuring long-term durability of the entire façade assembly.
