Application and technical data
The Eurovent® DB vapour barrier film is primarily used as a layer for insulation and regulation of water vapour levels in wall, floor, roof and ceiling structures. It is also used as acoustic insulation and protection beneath floor finishes, such as laminate flooring. Due to its mechanical properties, it can additionally be used as a protective film for building materials, window joinery, roof surfaces or façades during installation and finishing works.

To ensure maximum performance of the DB roof membrane, it is recommended to use it together with:
- Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes, which improve the tightness of overlaps and all installation joints,
- Eurovent® ventilation accessories, supporting proper air circulation and reducing the risk of condensation within the roof structure,
- Eurovent® eaves system components, ensuring effective water drainage and a stable air intake under the roof covering,
- Eurovent® roof clips, which stabilize the roof covering and increase the system’s resistance to wind and snow loads.
