CLIMA 100

The vapor barrier membrane Eurovent® CLIMA 100 is characterized by a high level of the Sd coefficient. It is constructed of a layer of polypropylene nonwoven and a special functional film. The functional film acts as a barrier against the penetration of water vapor from inside the building towards the attic or wall, providing excellent protection of the thermal insulation against water vapor condensation. 

The membrane can be customized with two self-adhesive tapes - SYSTEM SK2.

Application and technical data

The Eurovent® CLIMA 100 vapour control membrane is used as a vapour barrier layer protecting attics and walls against the penetration of excess moisture from the interior into the thermal insulation. Eurovent® CLIMA 100 is recommended for both residential and industrial construction and is suitable for a wide range of construction technologies, including prefabricated systems, CLT (Cross-Laminated Timber), modular, timber-frame and traditional buildings. It is also ideally suited for use in Passive House construction. During installation of the Eurovent® CLIMA 100 vapour control membrane, it is recommended to use Eurovent® UNISAN and Eurovent® DUO adhesive tapes for bonding overlapping joints, as well as Eurovent® UNO tape for sealing connections with structural elements.

In order to ensure maximum performance of the CLIMA 100 roof membrane, it should be used in combination with:

  • Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes, which increase the tightness of overlaps and the durability of installation joints,
  • Eurovent® ventilation accessories, supporting proper air circulation and reducing the risk of condensation within the roof structure,
  • Eurovent® eaves system components, ensuring effective water drainage and continuous air intake beneath the roof covering,
  • Eurovent® roof clips, stabilising the roof covering and increasing the system resistance to wind and snow loads.

The use of complete Eurovent® system solutions guarantees membrane durability, effective protection of the roof structure and reliable performance of the entire system for many years.
