Anticondensation foil

ANTICON

The Eurovent ANTICON anti-condensation foil, multilayer, made of double-sided coated fabric and a layer of polypropylene nonwoven fabric, which provides storage of excess moisture and thus prevents the effect of condensation. Used for sloping roofs, ventilated in areas of an increased humidity level.

Advantages:

  • Prevents condensation
  • Tear resistance
  • UV resistance
  • Fast and easy installation

Application and technical data

The Eurovent® ANTICON anti-condensation film is used in the construction of ventilated pitched roofs, both insulated and uninsulated, as an insulating layer beneath the roof covering. Thanks to its moisture absorption capacity, it prevents the formation of condensation. When used in insulated roofs, the product requires a ventilation gap of at least 5 cm between the film and the thermal insulation (mineral wool, glass wool, etc.), which means the film must not be in direct contact with the insulation. The product should not be used on roofs with full boarding. Installation of the final roof covering on the roofing film must always be carried out using battens and counter-battens.
