Active vapour control membranes have an Sd value of ≥4 m (±2 m).

Products in this category, such as Eurovent® CLIMA 2, incorporate an active functional film that protects against uncontrolled water vapour transfer while allowing controlled diffusion. Small amounts of vapour can pass through, enabling the building element to dry and helping prevent condensation.
