MAUER PVC V
Eurovent® MAUER PVC V membrane for horizontal damp-proofing of foundations is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) with a specially designed subtle embossed pattern that provides anti-slip properties and ensures excellent bonding with masonry mortar. Its excellent flexibility allows very good adhesion to the substrate and resistance to uneven structural deformation, while stable strength parameters during use guarantee long-term tightness throughout the product’s service life.

Application and technical data
Eurovent® MAUER PVC V horizontal foundation damp-proofing membrane is used to create a waterproof barrier protecting both basement and non-basement buildings against capillary rising moisture. It is designed to form a thick and durable waterproofing layer as horizontal insulation of foundation footings under load-bearing walls, under wall plates (mauerlat), and partition walls, serving as an alternative to bituminous felt.
After installation, the material should be protected against prolonged exposure to UV radiation.

To achieve maximum effectiveness of horizontal damp-proofing and long-term protection of the structure against capillary rising moisture, Eurovent® MAUER PVC V should be used together with:
- Eurovent® vertical foundation membranes (e.g. GEO 8, GEO 20), which protect walls against ground moisture and work together with horizontal insulation,
- Eurovent® filtration geotextiles, protecting insulation layers from mechanical damage and silting,
- Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes, ensuring tight and durable connections between horizontal damp-proofing and vertical insulation layers,
- Eurovent® installation accessories (e.g. installation profiles, nails), enabling quick, stable, and secure fixing of the insulation in the foundation zone.
The use of complete Eurovent® system solutions ensures an effective moisture barrier, protects the structure against degradation, and guarantees long-term durability of building foundations
