MAUER LDPE
Eurovent® MAUER LDPE is a flexible membrane for horizontal damp-proofing, designed to protect masonry and walls against capillary rising moisture from the ground. The product is used as a durable moisture barrier in the foundation zone, at ground level, and under the first layer of masonry, both in residential construction and utility buildings.
The membrane is made of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and is characterized by high flexibility, moisture resistance, and long-term stability of its performance parameters. Thanks to its structure, it perfectly adapts to the substrate and effectively compensates for minor irregularities in the mortar layer.

Application and technical data
Eurovent® MAUER LDPE is used as horizontal damp-proofing in the following applications:
- in foundation walls and load-bearing walls,
- in the ground-level zone of the building,
- under the first layer of masonry in brick or block structures,
- in single-family and multi-family buildings,
- in standard construction solutions where material flexibility and easy installation are essential.
The product effectively protects the structure against capillary rising moisture, reducing the risk of dampness, degradation of building materials, and damage to finishing layers.

To achieve maximum effectiveness of horizontal damp-proofing and long-term protection of the structure against capillary rising moisture, Eurovent® MAUER LDPE should be used together with:
- Eurovent® vertical foundation membranes (e.g. GEO 8, GEO 20), which protect walls against ground moisture,
- Eurovent® filtration geotextiles, protecting insulation layers from mechanical damage and silting,
- Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes, ensuring tight joints in areas where horizontal and vertical insulation layers meet,
- Eurovent® installation accessories (installation profiles, nails), enabling quick and stable fixing of the insulation.
