Geotextile
GEOTEX
Eurovent® GEOTEX geotextile is made of thermally bonded continuous polypropylene filaments and stabilized against UV radiation. It is used in the construction of sports fields, pavements, and bicycle paths, as well as in vertical, infiltration, irrigation, and pipe drainage systems. Thanks to its unique structure and manufacturing technology, it performs filtration and protective functions, stabilizes the soil, separates individual substrate layers, and protects other construction materials from damage.
Advantages:
- ensures effective separation and filtration
- reliable protection and drainage
- stabilizes the soil
Application and technical data
Eurovent® GEOTEX geotextile is designed for filtration, separation, and protection applications in civil engineering and landscaping. It effectively separates soil layers, stabilizing the subsoil and protecting adjacent materials from mechanical damage. It ensures long-term filtration by allowing water to pass through while retaining solid particles.
It is commonly used in the construction of parking areas, pavements, sports fields, and bicycle paths, as well as in drainage systems. It is also applied in green areas, for example to protect and irrigate roadside vegetation, and as a filtration layer near water reservoirs and riverbanks.

System Products
To ensure maximum performance of GEOTEX, it is recommended to use it together with:
- Eurovent® drainage and separation mats (e.g. GEO MATT, MATT), which improve the efficiency of drainage systems and increase the stability of soil structures,
- Eurovent® foundation membranes and vertical waterproofing systems, which require a protective layer to prevent punctures and mechanical damage,
- Eurovent® drainage and water management systems, such as drains, perforated pipes, and drainage accessories, which work together with GEOTEX in filtration and water discharge,
- aggregates and stabilizing base layers, which in combination with GEOTEX create effective separation layers in road construction, landscaping, and civil engineering structures.
The use of complete Eurovent® system solutions guarantees effective layer separation, durable soil stabilization, efficient filtration, and long-term protection of structures against erosion and water impact.
