GEOTEX
The geotextile Eurovent GEOTEX is made of thermosetting polypropylene continuous fibres, stabilized against UV rays. Used in the construction of sports fields, sidewalks and bicyclepaths, as well as vertical drainage, drainage, irrigation-systems and draining pipes. It’s unique structure and technology stabilize soil, separates ground layers, provides excellent filtrationand protects other construction materials against damage.

Application and technical data
The Eurovent® GEOTEX geotextile is designed for filtration, separation and protection applications in civil and landscape engineering. It effectively separates soil layers, stabilising the subgrade and protecting adjacent materials against mechanical damage. It provides long-term filtration, allowing water to pass through while retaining solid particles.
It is used in the construction of car parks, pavements, sports fields and cycle paths, as well as in drainage systems. It is also applied in green areas, for example for the protection and irrigation of vegetation along roads, and as a filtration layer in water reservoirs and riverbanks.

In order to ensure maximum performance of GEOTEX, it should be used in combination with:
- Eurovent® drainage and separation mats (e.g. GEO MATT, MATT), which support water drainage and improve soil stabilisation in road and drainage systems,
- Eurovent® vertical foundation membranes (e.g. GEO 8, GEO 20), where GEOTEX performs the function of a protective and filtration layer, protecting the insulation against damage and clogging,
- Eurovent® drainage and dewatering systems, which cooperate with the geotextile in the filtration and transport of ground and rainwater,
- aggregates and sub-base layers, which together with GEOTEX create stable and durable structures of pavements, embankments, slopes and land drainage systems.
The use of complete Eurovent® system solutions guarantees effective layer separation, improved subgrade bearing capacity, efficient filtration and long-term protection of the structure against erosion, settlement and water impact.
