The insulating construction foil Eurovent BAU. Made of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) which effectively protects against transfer of vapour form the external environment toward the inside of the building. The material, it is constructed from, is characterized by increased resistance to weather conditions such as snow, rain and dust.

Application and technical data
The insulating construction foil Eurovent BAU is primarily used as hydro-insulation layerbelow wood flooring, floor tile, concrete flooring as well as other floor finishing materials.The product is also recommended for application as protective layer for thermal and acousticinsulation. Mechanical properties make it suitable for use as protective foil during installationand finishing works in the areas of windows, roof slopes and facades.

To achieve maximum protection of floors, screeds, and structural layers, Eurovent® BAU should be used together with:
- Eurovent® sealing and adhesive tapes, which ensure airtight joints and protect against moisture penetration,
- Eurovent® vapour control membranes, which additionally protect building structures against water vapour migration from the interior side,
- Eurovent® geotextiles and protective accessories, which improve separation and protect the substrate during screed application and other wet construction works.
The use of complete Eurovent® system solutions ensures effective protection of working surfaces, increases the durability of underlay layers, and minimizes the risk of damage during construction.
