What does the ZVDH certificate mean?

One of the most prestigious confirmations of the highest technical standards in the roofing industry is the ZVDH certificate, awarded by the Zentralverband des Deutschen Dachdeckerhandwerks – the Central Association of the German Roofing Trade.

The ZVDH certificate is a quality mark granted to roofing materials, including highly vapour-permeable roof membranes, that meet the strict requirements of the German roofing market. This certification confirms that the product has been approved for use in accordance with ZVDH guidelines and may be used in projects covered by German building regulations and beyond. It is an important factor both in the design of new roofs and in the renovation of existing buildings.
